Nathan says:
I think you’ve got a bunch of great elements. Let’s tweak them.
1. The type’s too small. Be loud and proud.
2. Everything is center-aligned but the title. Either center-align that too…
…or right-align the byline to balance it out:
There are other tweaks you could then try — should the letter spacing be tightened so that the title can be even bigger? how is the line spacing? — but I think that will put you in a good place for finishing touches.

My wife pointed out that the original has a center vertical line bisecting the word “Fragmented.” If that’s intentional, then I would suggest centering the title, but dropping the text a quarter-inch on the right side. That gives a very visual representation of fragmentation. You could also drop the author’s last name the same quarter-inch.
Seems our esteemed host didn’t leave me much to add: for titles and bylines especially, bigger is better, so “Go big or go home!” The image is intriguing and well-crafted, so no further tweaking is necessary on it. About the only other change I could recommend would be maybe skewing some of the title and byline a little bit diagonally to the left or right to go along with the “shattered” theming of the cover’s general aesthetics; make it look like a sign hanging on a wall that got knocked crooked during an earthquake.
