This Friday: The Cover Critic, in person!

This Thursday through Saturday (February 11th through 13th), I’ll be participating in Life, the Universe & Everything (aka “LTUE”), a slightly fannish symposium on science fiction and fantasy held in Provo, Utah.  On top of having some items in the art show, participating in discussion panels, and barking sudden nuggets of wisdom to bewildered random passers-by, on Friday at 5pm I’ll be giving a presentation on “Book Cover Design for Self-Publishers.”  If you’re local and you don’t participate in LTUE, you’re missing out on so much I can’t tell you.

Comments

  1. Sounds awesome, I wish I could make it there. If you aren’t planning to already, you should audio and/or video record your presentation. You could offer it for sale or for free on your website, if you’re so inclined.

  2. You haven’t told us how it went yet! inquiring minds wish to know.

Side Note: I am under the impression that the new cover project I submitted for here didn’t make it to you Nathan. Can you let me know? 🙂

    1. Sorry — it did make it to me, I’m just a bit behind. I’d expect it to go up in the next week or so.

I’ll also make a report on the presentation, which will be pretty familiar to people who know the tags at LBC.

      1. Don’t be sorry. 🙂 I was just curious. Just thought I would check!

I’m still editing for a month or so, so lots of time.

I look forward to your report!
